Kyle Holden

President

A 12 year Hamilton County resident, Kyle and his wife Donna own Chattanooga Bar Stools & More and reside in Hurricane Creek Estates. He opposes annexation on the grounds that it is an unnecessary financial burden on the county residents forcibly imposed by a mayor and city council that has shown an inability to manage the city's finances and has no jurisdiction over the areas it wishes to annex.

Jim Chastain

Vice President

Jim and his wife Karen have lived in Hamilton County for the past 5 years following his retirement from BASF.  He opposes annexation on the grounds that it is forced on county residents who have no vote on the issue.

Ken Carey

Treasurer

A 10 year Hanilton County resident. Ken and his wife Charmagne are retired after 30+ years in business and reside in Laurel Cove. Ken opposes annexation on the grounds that there is no "quid pro quo" For the money paid in increased taxes residents get no more in services than what they currently receive from the county. Also that people have the right to choose where they live and should not have their rights of choice and property infringed upon by government without their consent. Especially by a City Government that cannot take care of that which is within the current city limits.

Lewis Hudson

Board Member

Lewis is a 40 year resident of Hamilton County; 5 years in Hixson and is treasurer of StonewallFarms Townhomes Association. He considers annexation by ordinance to be a perversion of his right to vote and be heard. He feels that too much government is done by executive order by elected officials who wish to circumvent the ballot box and will of the majority. "Annexation is one of these perversions."
